Wescott Infant School and Westende Junior School share an active Parents’ Association (PA).

Every family at Wescott Infant School and Westende Junior School is automatically a member of the Wescott & Westende PA and is very welcome to attend all meetings and events. The PA organises fun social and fundraising events throughout the year. Our aim is to raise money for the schools to pay for some extra items which benefit the pupils, enrich the curriculum and improve the school environment.

The PA is also a great way to make new friends and get involved in school life.

Fundraising

The fundraising events we hold add a great deal to the sense of community and enjoyment within the schools. The Summer and Christmas Fairs are the biggest events of the PA calendar when friends and families of both schools come together for lots of fun. We also have smaller events running throughout the year including school discos, cake sales, lolly sales, and quiz nights.

Swimming Association

We are lucky enough to have a swimming pool at Westende School, which is also used by Wescott children. Your child will have swimming lessons during the second half of the Summer Term and, if the weather is good, Westende children often swim during the first half of the Autumn term.

The PA organises the Swimming Association which ALL families can join for a small fee. Families can enjoy use of the pool after school and at weekends during the second half of the summer term and daily throughout the summer holiday. The pool can also be hired for parties.
