Safeguarding

Westende Junior School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all pupils, staff, volunteers, visitors and external agencies to share this commitment.

Please remember that safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is everyone’s responsibility. Everyone who comes into contact with children and their families and carers has a role to play in safeguarding children.

Our Safeguarding Policy is written with due regard to the Department for Education statutory guidance “Keeping Children Safe in Education” and a copy can be found by clicking here.
