In the event of any school closure: we will aim to notify parents as early as we possibly can. You will be contacted via text with a brief explanation which we will follow up with a Parentmail. We would endeavour to update the school website, local radio and the WBC website with relevant information regarding a closure.

Mobile Phones: If your child brings a mobile phone into school, it must be named or be in a named purse.  If we receive an un-named phone, we may not be able to return it at the end of the day unless we know for sure who the right owner is. As you will appreciate, these are very expensive items and we do not wish to give the wrong phone to the wrong person. Thank you.

The school nursing advice line has a new number!

Your School Nursing service is aware that the Coronavirus pandemic continues to be a difficult and worrying time for everyone and during this time there have been additional pressures on children, families and young people. We are here to help with advice and support regarding physical or emotional concerns.

The School Nursing advice line is available to support children, young people and their families who live in West Berkshire, Reading, Wokingham and Bracknell; it is an easy way to reach us, is available Monday to Friday, 9am to 4.30pm and can give you the advice and support you need.

Call us on 0300 365 0010

There are lots of events and activities going on in and around Wokingham.

See our External Activities page for details

Please note that booking forms for clubs run by external leaders can be found on the appropriate club page

Dear Parents and Carers,

We are still processing the large number of emails which we have received over the last two days.  If you have not received a response to an email,  please be assured that we will get back to you as soon as possible.  If your email is a general enquiry about remote learning provision, I will be sending out information about the school's blended learning policy and our remote provision, to all parents, which will hopefully answer your questions.

In the meantime, if you have any problems with logging into MS Teams or if your family do not have access to a laptop or tablet then please do not hesitate to contact us.

School is open as usual for the children of critical workers and vulnerable children with approximately 25% of our school population registered for a place in school.  Due to the increased number of children attending school compared to the first national lockdown, most of our staff are in school teaching face to face.  Please bear this in mind if you are trying to contact your child's class teacher.

I appreciate that the last two days have been challenging and that the prospect of another lengthy period of home-schooling is stressful and not what any of us want for our children.  However, please be assured that we will do our very best to support you and your children over the coming weeks.

Thank you for your patience and as always, your ongoing support.

Kind regards,

Mrs Andrea Sykes
